Did You Know?!

National Fire Prevention Week is observed in the United States and Canada, during the week in which October 9th falls (this year the week is Oct 7 - 13, 2018). The first Presidential proclamation in the U.S. of Fire Prevention Week was made in 1925 by President Calvin Coolidge!

I just ordered some 9 Volt batteries to replace in all of our smoke detectors, since it has been awhile and I want to be sure they are fully charged.  If it is time, update your batteries too and read this article here for more information on fire safety awareness.
