These Peanut Butter Balls are one of my favorite treats! They are super easy to make and you won't believe how wonderful they taste.  Maybe you will - anything peanut butter & chocolate is amazing, isn't it?!

If you prefer more nutty flavor and less sweet, why not try making these Peanut Butter Chocolate Buckeyes instead?

2 Cups of peanut butter
½ Cup of butter
4 ½ Cups of icing/confectioner's sugar
3 Cups of Rice Krispies Cereal
2 Cups of chocolate chips
3 Tbsp. of shortening

1. Melt the peanut butter and the butter together over medium heat. Do not boil.
2. Mix the icing sugar and rice krispies together in a large bowl.
3. Pour the melted peanut butter into the bowl with the icing sugar and rice krispies.
4. Mix together very well with your hands.
5. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
6. Cool in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
7. When the peanut butter balls are completely cooled, melt the chocolate chips and shortening in a double boiler.
8. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and place back onto the cookie sheet.
9. Let the chocolate covered balls cool and harden.
10. Melt different colored chocolate and place into a disposable decorating bag. Decorate for any occasion.
