  1. There is also Shakespeare in Delaware Park. They are performing Merchant of Venice (June 16-July 10) and As You Like It (July 21-Aug 14). Shows are Tuesdays thru Sundays at 7:30pm.

  2. Here's a suggestion for anyone going to the concerts at Artpark. If you don't mind walking, you can park for free on Water Street. It's about 3/4 mile walk to the park.

  3. Tuesday's Ready Set Parent 6pm class at Amherst Peds got canceled because of low enrollment, as only 2 people signed up, myself included.

  4. Sunday 9/11 - Rochester Irish Festival at Camp Eastman in East Irondequoit. 12-4pm

  9. We have over 200 baskets and about 1200 additional prizes to be given out at the Easter Egg Hunt at Evangel Assembly of God on Saturday, March 31st. Prizes include MP3 players, digital video cameras, Webkinz, Snuggies, Zone Video Game systems and many many more. Everyone will recieve a goody bag too.

  11. August 25th is the Community Appreciation day at the Olcott Beach Carousel Park. GREAT day to go if you've never been because of so many FREE activities for the kids!

    Celebrate our 11th season and our carousel's 85th birthday, Roaring 20's Style from 12-6. Special guests include Popeye & Olive Oyl. Antique 1920's car display, entertainment on stage at 12:15 & 3:15 will feature "Gumshoe McMonocle and the Strange Case of Rumplesomething" It is "Rumplestiltskin" done as a 1940s detective story by the Omnipresent Puppet Theatre from California. Free washable tattoos for the kids, a Skee Ball Challenge (3 divisions, winners of each division receive a Regal Theatre Gift Card), cookies, free rides on the Olcott Fire Truck from 1-3. To show appreciation to the community for their support, carousel rides will be free.

  16. Discover Kenmore, Saturday, June 18 from 9-3. Delaware Ave will be closed from LaSalle to Victoria for a free community street fair. Over 100 vendors and businesses, music, entertainment, food, children's area with Library bookmobile, SPCA, adult relaxation area, and more.

  17. Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church is having their fall family fusion on October 28th from 6pm-9pm. It is a free family event. There is an optional dinner (for the very brave) from 5:30pm -6:30 pm, will be provided for $3/person. Dinner includes "Mystery Meat" Tacos, "Slime"Juice, "Worms in Dirt" Dessert ! (Sounds delicious doesn't it?)

    Games from 6:00-7:15pm include Family Courage Challenges , bounce house and obstacle course inflatables, fun fall activities, hayrides, face painting, fall photo op, selfie scavenger hunt, pre-school games, and more.

    At 7:15, all families meet in the Multiplex for music, stage games, a special Faith over Fear Bible storytime. Every child gets a special take home gift.

    Family Fusion’s Jingle Jam Put a Bow on It Christmas Event is Friday December 9thh ….. and it’s FREE!!! For kids 3 years old to 5th grade and their families. This is the perfect start to the Christmas season. We bring families together for a high energy, fun filled faith experience that includes inflatables, (obstacle course and bounce houses), face painting, games and activities for everyone., So parents -dress the kids in their favorite Christmas pajamas, put on your ugly sweaters and grab some of your friends. Did I mention it is FREE! And no one needs to cook dinner either. We even offer an optional dinner for $3.00/person. Prancer pizza, reindeer food and Jingle Juice are on the menu . So here’s the breakdown of the night …

    6-7:15 pm – optional dinner $3.00 /person
    6:00-7:15 – inflatables , games and activities
    7:15-8:00 family production
    8:00-8:30- inflatable encore

    Please grab some free tickets at the welcome center or Next gen area and pass them to on to your friends, neighbors, co-workers… anywhere you can think of because we will also hear the story of Christ’s birth and how He can change us and the world.

  19. Free Family Fusion: Easter
    Friday, March 31st
    From 6:00-8:30 pm

    For kids 3 years old to 5th grade and their families. Grab your ”peeps” and hop on out for a night of fun, games, activities, face painting , inflatables, family challenges, music, a petting zoo and more. We bring families together for fun and faith. This is a great time to invite other families to church. Easter is a lot of fun, but it’s not about an Easter bunny, it’s about a Risen Savior. So put the real reason for Easter back into your celebration this year.

    And we try to make the night easier for parents by providing dinner for a small fee. The cost is $3.00 per person and includes Peter Cottontail Pizza, Bunny Bait (carrots), “carrot “ juice (orange soda) and Bunny Tails (donut holes) for dessert. Dinner is served from 6:00-7:15 pm and is optional.

    If you want to skip the meal, just bounce in for games and inflatables from 6:00-7:15pm.

    The Family Production starts at 7:15 pm. This show includes stage games, competition, prizes, music, dancing and some crazy characters. After the show, we will have an inflatables encore from 8:00-8:30 pm.
